How to get your presentation safely on stage.
A few simple preparations help avoid technical surprises just before your presentation.
Presentation recommendations
- Bring your presentation to the Speaker Ready Room early - ideally at least 60 minutes before your session.
- PowerPoint (PPTX) and PDF are the preferred formats.
- Presentations created on a Mac should be tested on a Windows PC in advance.
- For special fonts: embed fonts or use common cross-platform fonts.
- Embed videos directly in PowerPoint where possible and also bring a separate MP4 copy as backup.
- Projection is typically 16:9.
